Air filters should be changed every thirty days unless the system has been turned off. Arizona has a dry hot climate; we have a lot of dust and our systems run long hours to keep our homes comfortable.

Average cooling set point is 78 degrees with heating set point at 70 degrees, but set your thermostat where you are most comfortable. Try not to change it in anything more than 3 degree increments.

Manufacturers require that systems be serviced twice a year in order to maintain warranties. Semi-annual service and frequent air filter changes are all you need to properly maintain your system and keep it running at peak performance.
